Lori L. Greer is an accomplished financial leader with over two decades of experience in financial management, human resources, and operational strategy. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Jackson Redevelopment Authority, Lori plays a pivotal role in overseeing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring long-term fiscal health, and guiding strategic growth initiatives. Her deep expertise in financial stewardship and operational leadership is rooted in her extensive tenure at the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, where she served for more than 23 years, rising to the positions of Deputy Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Human Resources Director.

During her time at the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, Lori managed an $11.5 million annual operating budget, oversaw a $2 million grant budget, and secured significant funding, including $1.63 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds and over $500,000 in Employee Retention Credit funds. Her leadership was instrumental in the Foundation’s financial success and operational efficiency. She prepared corporate reports for the CEO and board, orchestrated the execution of the budget, ensured compliance with financial regulations, and facilitated unqualified opinions in annual audits. Lori also provided financial guidance on long-term debt management and financing strategies, ensuring the organization’s stability and growth.

Lori’s contributions extended beyond finance. As Human Resources Director, she developed and implemented talent management strategies that increased staff retention and productivity while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She was also responsible for managing recruitment efforts, facilitating training programs, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Her strategic approach to HR and talent management aligned seamlessly with the organization’s mission and goals, ensuring that the Foundation maintained a dynamic and effective workforce.

In her role as Chief Business Development Officer from 2015 to 2017, Lori expanded her leadership reach by directing cross-functional operations, including finance, human resources, IT, customer service, and contract negotiations. She implemented marketing and public relations strategies that enhanced the organization’s public awareness and built strong relationships with key stakeholders. Lori also developed and enforced corporate policies that increased operational efficiency, and she played a key role in transitioning financial strategies into tactical plans that optimized financial growth.

Lori holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mississippi College, with additional coursework at Millsaps College. Her combination of financial acumen, human resources expertise, and operational strategy makes her a vital asset to the Jackson Redevelopment Authority, where she continues to drive financial stability, operational improvements, and strategic growth.
