Dr. Vonda Reeves is a practicing gastroenterologist who is a graduate of Millsaps College and Meharry Medical College. Prior to returning to Jackson, she pursued an academic career at the Universityof Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She has an MBA from Millsaps College. Community involvement includes past president of the Women’s Foundation of Mississippi, Boy Scouts of America, Andrew Jackson Council Executive Board, Mayoral Covid Task Force, and many other areas of Civic involvement. She is the current governor of the American College of Gastroenterology for the State of Mississippi. Community revitalization and preservation with adherence to fiscal financial responsibility is the focus for Dr. Reeves.
